Well, I did gradients my way, with a paint brush. I had wanted to do my Texas Nails manicure on my nails, but just didn’t for various excuses reasons. I really like them and got a lot of compliments on them today (my first day back in class). Anyway, I did the gradients with a small paint brush and acrylic paint. Didn’t feel like trying to whip out sponges, polish remover, q-tips, having to start over, etc etc.
Items Used:
Color Club – Almost Famous (LOVE this yellow)
Oumaxi Acrylic paint – white, black, red, orange, gold

Amazing! Love it! I can’t believe you did the gradient with a brush! I would love a tutorial on this technique since I also find sponging a gradient is annoying.
I swear I have tried sponging and I just can’t get the hang of it. Even when I manage to make it look half-way decent, the clean up really dries out my skin.
I can do a tutorial as it was not complicated and it was not involved. Thanks for the request!
ME TOO! I cannot get the sponging technique down! I can’t wait to try your method
I will try to get a tutorial up over the next few weeks. Thanks!
And beautiful design btw. It looks like a painting!!!
