OK, first things first. I am ADDICTED to Burt’s Bees Lemon Cuticle Balm. No, seriously, I think I have a problem. I am also extremely in love with a soft rubber cuticle pusher I purchased at CVS and how I feel like my cuticles are looking better after (NO LIE) just one week of using it on a regular basis (in conjunction with the cuticle balm). In addition, for anyone who has cuticles that can get on the thick side… I am officially a fan of Sally Hansen’s Problem Cuticle Remover – I have used it twice now and it WORKS. I used to be one of the people who had to trim some of the problem areas of my cuticles; not now, nope, nuh uh – problem solved.
I am still working on lines, and well, I gotta say I am really liking how this turned out. This look was inspired by Nailside. I love her ideas. Anyway, I am also liking my nails for the first time in a long time… short n sassy. ;o)
Items Used:
Striper brush
China Glaze – Frostbite (this is one of my fave’s, a go-to polish I use A LOT)
Finger Paints – Easel Come, Easel Go
Sally Hansen – Mega Shine Top Coat (this stuff is great too)
EDIT: 8/3/2012 – I submitted this to Burgers and Nails but it didn’t make it onto the blog. I probably forgot something I was supposed to put in the submission or some such thing, but I really like it and wanted to show it here.
EDIT: 8/16/2012 – They posted it! YES. Check it out HERE!

So pretty!
Thanks

Your lines are looking great!!! I need to try some of that cuticle remover. I have SH Instant and it works ok but not crazy good. You said its just called problem cuticle remover or something like that? Mega shine is one of my favorites. If it dried to a harder finish I would use it instead of seche. It’s glossier and is like armor for your nails. Love it.
Thank you! Yeah, Sally Hansen Problem Cuticle Remover with aloe. You are right about Mega Shine, it does seem to be a little on the “thin” side when compared to Seche Vite or even Out the Door. However, since I change my nails once a week, it seems to do well for me.
